Living the life, or hardly living?

I got upgraded last night in Amman, Jordan at the Intercontinental. The cover model girl at the reception desk said “I’m so sorry sir, but our hotel is at full occupancy. I’m going to have to put you in one of our Deluxe Suites.”  “Oh, well i’m flexible…” I responded.  Too bad I had to get up at 4am to make the flight to Kurdistan, but the luxury was great while it lasted.

  1. I love the carpet. for obvious reasons.

  2. You are a terrific writer, and you’ve done a great job capturing highlights of the trip. I couldn’t have said it better myself!
